FrontKon Discussions: Current Topics, Different Perspectives

At FrontKon, we want to do more than just share knowledge from the stage. We also want to make room for discussions and questions that keep coming up in our industry. That’s why the program features two panel discussions where you can join the conversation, too.

The topics IT is talking about right now

The first panel will focus on Agent-Based Development in Practice, with developers Sylwie Laskowska, Kamil Tomšík, and Petr Glaser joining the discussion.

AI agents are no longer just a future-looking experiment. What actually works today? Where can agents help developers? What should we still not trust them with? And how is working with AI changing the way we build software?

The job market is about to change

The second panel will also explore the impact of AI on software development. The Present and Future of Work in IT brings together Markéta Krejčí, Riki Fridrich, and Petr Burian to discuss the future of work in IT from managerial, developer, and HR perspectives.

As machines write more and more of the code, what’s left for developers to do? Will knowing syntax and frameworks still matter? Or will it become more important to make good decisions, communicate effectively, and know how to work with AI?

The hallway track

The conference program is packed from morning till evening, but there will still be plenty of time for networking and good old-fashioned conversation: over coffee, during lunch, in the lounge area, or at our partners’ booths. There’ll be no shortage of things to talk about – and it’s also a chance to give your brain a break from technical talks.

FrontKon After Dark

The last talk wraps up shortly after 6 PM, but FrontKon doesn’t stop there. We’re heading to an afterparty hosted by Apify at their new offices in central Prague.

Expect a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of time to talk about everything you heard during the day and much more..
