AI in Development Without the Fluff: From Unknown Codebases to Debugging and Testing

Annotation

AI is everywhere today. However, most teams still use it either too cautiously or completely chaotically. The result? More generated code, but not necessarily better development. This workshop is about using AI so that it actually helps—not just so it looks good in a demo.

We won’t just talk about writing code. We’ll look at how to integrate AI into the entire development workflow: working within an unknown codebase, task planning, finding context, debugging, testing, and implementation. We’ll show you when to give AI more freedom, when to take back the wheel, and how to set up a workflow that doesn’t just speed up the first draft, but the actual delivery of a change.

The workshop will be intensive, practical, and free of unnecessary theory. No generic AI fluff—just real-world scenarios, specific procedures, and hands-on experience. I don’t train from a template; I adapt to the people in the room. Depending on the audience, we can dive deeper into codebase management, quality gates, debugging, or implementation.

Who is this for? This is not a workshop for absolute beginners. It is designed for developers, tech leads, and practitioners who already use AI in development and want to move from occasional prompting to a more systematic and efficient workflow.
